GENE KEY 30 | Become your longing.
I’ve not really spent much time with the word desire until listening to Gene Key 30 which prompted me to contemplate my own desires this week. At first, I had a hard time identifying my desires. And then I started to think of times in my life where I’ve acted on my desires, only to then feel bad after. I now understand they were/are there for a reason. To learn from them. Desires aren’t bad. They’re part of being human. And moving forward I welcome my desires as guests with this new awareness of their role. There are gifts in our desires but we don’t have to act on every one that shows up. Knowing we can receive the gifts from a desire without acting on them is a gift in itself! This is a fun GK and I’m excited to spend more time looking for the gifts of lightness in the shadows of desire.
